I'm trying to lose some weight, and i feel like i didn't eat very healthy today. Can someone help me out and tell me if i did good or bad?
I ate/drank..
1 bowl of multi-grain cheerios with skim milk
a banana
3 slices of pizza, 2 with pepporoni, 1 with cheese [from little ceasers]
like 6 bottles of water
3 cups of green tea
i also walked around for a really long time around town with my friend
then we ran a mile around our track, and took a mini walk afterwards.
do you guys think i did bad? i'm really trying to get in shape for the beach on the 20th.Did ii eat bad today?

Just cuz the tea was green-don't make it a vegetable. One of the pepperoni slices of pizza shoulda been a big salad.

lunch: 6inch sub from sheetz
dinner: ham and potatoes(greasy)
lots and lots of pop all day....

4 popsicles....
no water.......
a salad....
one only one oreo cookie.....

Avoid the pizzza.. that is greasy try eating salds/ heatlhier foods.

3 slices of pizza is a little much, dont you think? if you are watching your weight, all i can say is exercise, eat smaller portions, and cut out a lot of bread, meat and foods high in fat and calories.

You should eat 4-6 small meals throughout the day, including high quality protein like fish, chicken, turkey, and eggs(keep eggs to a minimum, because they are high in cholesterol). Pizza is mostly saturated fat which is bad. starving yourself will only lead to your body storing fat, but eating proprely portioned and balanced meals every 3 to 4 hours will ignite your metabolism. You also need to be eating more fiber.
some tips replace any white bread with whole grain
replace in soda with skim milk (no more than 3 glasses) or water
DO NOT eat any trans fats.
Most importantly for trying to lose weight fast. Do not eat anything with sugar added. Excess sugar (along with enormous portion size) is the leading cause of weight gain not fat. Twenty years ago people consumed very little sugar(325 versus 812.5), but they ate a little more fat, which sustained them.longer.

Eat in moderation.
For the long term allow yourself to have a cheat day in which you can have something you really want like pizza or ice cream. This will allow you to eat something that you enjoy and also will prevent you from feeling guilty and engulfing an entire carton of ice cream or an entire pizza. and yes everyone does cheat a little, even the people on the magazines.
You should be eating more vegetables.
if you have a salad use a vinaigrette dressing or just use a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
If you don't want to eat more fruits and vegetables you need to take a multivitamin.
Fat burning doesn't start until you have worked at an activity for more than 20 minutes (before than you are just burning carbs as fuel).
instead of running one mile. Do interval training. For example: You should run for 2-3 minutes than walk a minute. or whatever you are capable of doing, but if you can't run anymore after 20 minutes just walk. Listening to music really helps me work longer too.

Also the most important measure of yourself is not the scale, but how well your clothes fit and how good you feel. (You can measure waist around your bellybutton and compare to see if you are making headway.)

-salad with low or non-fat dressing
-Fruits
-A Healthy choice sub at subway

Well you started off good, with the cereal, but you need more fruit and vegetables in your diet. Skim milk is also great. Pizza just doesn't work. If you want to have pizza occasionally I would recommend something like stouffers french bread pizza. Only eat one of them maybe once a week. Green Tea and water is good for you, but you slow down your motabolism by only eating twice a day. You should try to eat 3 meals a day if not more. Just eat smaller portions. It is recommended to eat two salads a day for those that are trying to lose weight and one for maintaining and eating healthy. You didn't say, but I hope you are doing some crunches and some cardio. Stay away from fried foods and go for low fat or fat free salad dressings. You'd be amazed. Especially the italian dressings. They really don't taste fat free. All white dressings are loaded with fat.
Get your veggies (steamed or raw) Oatmeal is great for breakfast too. So are hard boiled eggs. Just toss the yolks. Fat Free Yoplait yogurts are great snacks and are very tasty. No butter or very little. And careful with the salt. Salt can make you retain water. Dried fruits are also great snacks.
Good luck and remember diets never work. You must keep this up for life to remain healthy and fit. :)

As you probably know pizza is not good. Especially with pepperoni on it. You should definitley try to avoid things with cheese. Don't eat to much cheese.

first off, The things you should be eating is Not pizza, its greasy. next time try like A toss salad with grilled chicken on the side or something like that. but other than that ur good.
Ya its good but you should try sticking to a food guide and not eat less but what you should eat!
Is this all you had including dinner? I think if your trying to lose wt you should eat a small salad for dinner and grilled chicken breast something. Pizza can be bad but overall you didn't really eat much- only eat 1 pc of pizza next time go for a whole wheat crust with some healthy toppings or a small sub for lunch. Oatmeal is a good thing for in the morning instead of cereal it sticks with you longer and makes you feel full, it can be boring but add some almonds and fruit in it and its yummy. Just make sure you eat balanced, have some yogurt or veggies for a snack. Take advantage of all the fresh produce available that is in season :) You did good with the exercise..

You started out healthy, but you should have had 1 slice of pizza and a salad for lunch. Then a sensable dinner.
Pizza is unhealthy but considering the fact that you are trying to look good that it was probably fine. In the long run pizza will hurt you but if you keep it to a bare minimum and keep up the activity you should be good to go.
By the way, everyone is different but i would go as far as to say that even without the running and walking you would have probably burnt more calories than you consumed today. I'm no doctor though.
Considering you didnt eat very much through out the day you did fine as far as calories go. You definitely shouldnt eat that much at one time though. Its good that youre drinking lots of water and green tea. Breakfast was great. My suggestions are to eat a ton more fruits and vegetables, lean meat, and whole grains. Eat 5 to six small meals about every 3 hours to rev up your metabolism. Making sure to have plenty of fruit and veggies in each meal they will make you feel full. In between full meals have small healthy snacks. Its great you are exercising. The more active you are the better! Dont put yourself down or feel guilty about the pizza just make it a point to do better tomorrow.

There's this website called fitday.com. It can help you count calories and can graph your weight loss progress on a chart. I am in the same boat as you. Um. I think you ate okay for today. And it also depends on how big your pizza slices are. The pizza slices I eat from fast food industries are usually sliced up in medium sized squares, or semi squares ( don't know if that makes any sense, lol).

1 Tbsp. Maynaise
1 large bowl fried rice
2 mangoes
1 Tablespoon Quinoa
1/2 tsp sugar

That's all you ate all day ? Yes, you "ate bad". Your breakfast was fine. You should be eating lunch and dinner. Even with three slices of pizza.. you probably did not get enough calories for the day. I wont go into all the details of why one large meal of pizza does not add up to two healthy meals.. this should be self explanatory. Too many refined carbs there, not enough protein and vegetables. to trim up, its a good idea to eat lots of lean meats and or proteins , fish, chicken, beans, lentils,, things like that. Even if you went on an extreme diet and exercise regime, you re not going to shape up for the beach in two weeks. you can get some more info on healthy eating from the us government link below. It takes a while to build muscle and burn fat,, but you can start eating better right away. good luck to you.
That is bad, especially the pizza, those things are killer. As long as you are doing exercise and sleep early so that you could get enough sleep, so that your body could work thing, I think that things should be fine.
Other than that I think you should be fine because everhthing else is pretty healthy. I think you have a pretty good diet except the pizza. I need to start eating healthy too!!
