if you consider Layla a stripper name,

then you had better consider Ann, Isabella, Katheryn, Danielle, Rose, Marie, Mary, all names that are popular,

not popular, rare, unusual, unique, etc.

because strippers, dancers, prostitutes, etc. have normal, everyday names

just like everyone else,

and i can guarantee that you share a name with a girl who is promiscuous,

just like everyone else
I agree with you. I mean, it's definitely not anywhere close to being the most prostitute-like name out there but it is a bit. I just really dislike the sound of the name. I mean it's got "lay" in it which just makes me think "getting laid" and I've just never liked names ending in "la."What's so great about Laila/Layla/Leila, ect? What is your opinions?
I think I like the name because it sounds like a less boring form of Leah. It's a little more exotic than Lily (not exotic like an exotic dancer), which sounds a little like it. Personally, I like Lila and Lola better then Laila, but you know, Lola- she was a showgirl.

i think it's a pretty name, actually. one of my dear friend's daughter's name is layla beth and she's as sweet as can be and does not remind me of a prostitute in any way, shape, or form!
Haha, Im pretty sure every name is a stripper name. Theres tons of strippers in this world, with over a million names.... just saying.
