General gastric problems like bloated tummy and gas.
Withold all food for 12 hours or so --- even 24 if necessary, then feed a bland diet of cooked chicken breast and brown rice and then gradually introduce the food you wish them to stay on.What are the symptoms of a dog after switching food without gradually mixing it?
I have a yorkie at home who only eats Ceasars, so that's all he gets. I also have a St. Bernard at home who will eat anything and everything he can get his paws on. We have switched Jake (the st. bernards) food so many times I cant even count since we got him 9 years ago. I honestly do not think that the kind of food makes any difference. Dogs do not care what they are eating (unless your my little yorkie, and you are a spoiled brat) as long as they are being fed. if your dogs are anything like Jake and are not pickey they will not care what they are being fed. There are no side effects or anything as to switching foods. Mixing it up and giving some variety is also good because dogs love to get different kinds of food.
Ps. Is the Ceasars where you live 89 cents a can? Because I have to give Benny at least 5 a day and it can get expensive. Maybe I only think that because I buy Jake 100 pound bags of food for 40 bucks, and it lasts me a while. What are the symptoms of a dog after switching food without gradually mixing it?
Very loose stools. Merrick's is a great dog food, I hope that you can look for a better dog food again. Beniful isn't very good. What are the symptoms of a dog after switching food without gradually mixing it?

Diarrhea, stomach aches, they may be tired or slow. Hope I helped:?)
