Same reason it only costs $5 for a pizza. Cheap and artificial ingredients. Try Domino's or Papa John's or better yet a local Italian restaurant. But a frozen pizza would be better than Little Caesars... eeewwiieeWhy does Little Ceasers taste like crap?
Perhaps in Canada, some of the Pizza Chains, Dominoes, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Ginos etc. make decent pizza, but I've found them all pretty bad. I prefer to order from individually owned pizza shops. It may cost more, but you get quality ingredients and it tastes way better. Of course, I live in a big city and there are Pizza Parlor on every other block, so there is a lot of competition.
Because no decent pizza would only cost five dollars.
