What to make mom's for Birthday Supper?

Hi I need a little help, it is my moms birthday today and I want to make a good super (we eat late). I have 3 chicken breast's (boneless) and I want to prepare them either chopped or not doesn't matter! I just don't know what to do with these, I want to make something nice. something other then grilling them or something like that. Casserole options would been awesome: I am siding ceaser salad as a side. and white wine to drink. this is so last minute help me please!!What to make mom's for Birthday Supper?

This chicken casserole is made with boneless chicken breasts, herbs, and other ingredients.

Total Time: 35 minutes



Ingredients:



6 chicken boneless breast halves

salt and pepper

1/4 cup butter

1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup

6 to 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced

3/4 cup dry white wine

2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper

1/4 teaspoon leaf thyme, crushed

1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

1/4 teaspoon tarragon or rosemary, crumbled

1/4 teaspoon dried minced chives or 1 scant teaspoon fresh

Preparation:



Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown chicken slowly in butter in a large skillet. Arrange browned chicken in a baking dish. To drippings in skillet add soup; stir to blend. Slowly add dry white wine, stirring until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.

Pour sauce over the chicken and cover dish with foil. Bake at 350掳 for 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 35 minutes or until tender. Serve with rice or noodles.

Here's a recipe that will make your mom think you've been slaving away all day,

is really easy to make. You'll need:



4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into tenders if they are too big.

1 can quartered artichoke hearts (drain and reserve liquid)

1/2 cup white wine

1 container crumbled feta cheese

1 tsp chopped thyme

2 T butter



Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place in baking dish. Sprinkle with

thyme, artichokes and feta cheese. Add 1/4 cup artichoke liquid and 1/4 cup

wine. Cover and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover and continue to

bake an additional 10 minutes. Mix together butter, wine and remaining artichoke

liquid. Simmer until reduced and thickened. Remove chicken from pan, dividing

artichoke and cheese between each piece. Drizzle with wine mixture and serve

marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for an hour or two then serve it with fettuccine in a cream sauce with peppers then grill the chicken in the broiler or bake it.
chicken parmigiana(serve with spaghetti)-

Ingredients

1 egg, beaten

2 ounces dry bread crumbs

2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

3/4 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a medium baking sheet.

2.Pour egg into a small shallow bowl. Place bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl. Dip chicken into egg, then into the bread crumbs. Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until no longer pink and juices run clear.

3.Pour 1/2 of the spaghetti sauce into a 7x11 inch baking dish. Place chicken over sauce, and cover with remaining sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top and return to the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

chicken marsala(serve with steamed baby carrots and egg noodles)-

Ingredients

1/4 cup all-purpose flour for coating

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded 1/4 inch thick

4 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup sliced mushrooms

1/2 cup Marsala wine

1/4 cup cooking sherry

Directions

1.In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the flour, salt, pepper and oregano. Coat chicken pieces in flour mixture.

2.In a large skillet, melt butter in oil over medium heat. Place chicken in the pan, and lightly brown. Turn over chicken pieces, and add mushrooms. Pour in wine and sherry. Cover skillet; simmer chicken 10 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink and juices run clear.

chicken noodle casserole-

Ingredients

1 large onion, diced

1/4 cup butter

3 (10 ounce) cans chicken chunks

1 pint sour cream

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken and mushroom soup

3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 (8 ounce) package uncooked egg noodles

4 ounces buttery round crackers, crushed

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In medium skillet, fry onion in butter until softened. Pour into 9x13 baking dish.

2.In large bowl, combine chicken chunks, sour cream and soup. Stir in 2 cups of shredded cheddar. Stir in uncooked egg noodles. Pour mixture over onions in baking dish. Top with crumbled crackers and remaining cheddar.

3.Bake 30 minutes, or until top is golden and noodles are soft.

broccoli chicken casserole-

Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 pound broccoli florets, cooked

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 cup dry stuffing mix

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2.Boil chicken until tender and shred or cut into bite size pieces. Meanwhile, steam broccoli until crisp but tender.

3.In a small bowl mix together the soup and mayonnaise. Set aside. In a 9x13 inch baking dish layer the chicken, broccoli, soup mixture, and cheese. Sprinkle dry stuffing mix over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

veggie chicken rice casserole-

Ingredients

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup

1 whole cooked chicken, cut into pieces

1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

2 cups cooked rice

2/3 cup water

1/2 cup crushed buttery round crackers

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2.In a large bowl combine the soup, chicken, cooked vegetables, cooked rice and water. Mix well and spread mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle crushed cracker crumbs on top and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and serve.
