IS THE LITTLE TINNED DOG FOOD CALLED CEASER ? WITH THE WESTY ON IT BAD FOR DOGS ?
OR IS IT OK IF I MIXED IT WITH JAMES WELLBELOVED DRY DOG FOOD ? THANXUK DOG FOOd !?
I'm not a total dog food buff, but when I used tae give my wee dog Ceasar as a treat, he totally wolfed it down!! Surely it can't be too bad for him, and it's only a wee tub anyway!!! I never mixed anything in my dog's tea!!UK DOG FOOd !?
Hi there, personally I don't think dog meat is good for dogs, I only feed my dogs on complete foods, purely for their teeth and bones. In my past experience, dog meat helps to rot the teeth if its not added with a kibble. The kibble helps to get the plaque off the teeth. I don't use meat on its own. It takes a while for the dog to get used to this change over but when they cant stand it no more they will eat a complete food....................it depends how determined you are and how sorry you feel for your dog when its refusing to eat it. But I assure you it will eat it in the end, may take a couple of days but it will in the end.......I hope I am helpful...................Jo
According to the internet tinned dog food makes there stomach bleed,my friend took hers to the vets for that reason and he told her to get him of the tinned dog food.He is ok nowUK DOG FOOd !?
To be honest, most popular supermarket pet food is designed to appeal to the buyer rather than the pet! Caesar is ok, but I wouldn't buy it or feed it to my dogs. James Wellbeloved is a good food, better than most, I'd stick to that alone and leave out the Caeser.
Dog food's just dog food, just like our food is like our food. If you mixed any of it together it wouldn't automatically be bad for you. And as for Ceaser, I havn't heard anything but I doubt they would be able to sell a dog food thats bad for the animal.UK DOG FOOd !?
Caeser is alright.. chappy is the nasty one that causes dire diaorrhea..
I agree with Collie. James Wellbeloved is a COMPLETE food. This means that it has been specially formulated to ensure your dog is getting all the nutrients that it needs. By mixing it with other food or adding supplements you will upset the balance.
Try soaking the kibble with warm water and sprinkle some of the dried on top just to ring the changes.
in response to bugaboo....chappie is actually very highly recommended by most vets due to its high meat content and levels of set vitamins and minerals and also its lack of artifical additives.
it is fine
I feed my slave chappy. He hates it to.
I would only feed james wellbeloved as it is a complete food so doesn't need mixing with anything ( we made this mistake with our boxer). For a treat you can then give your dog some good quality meat or fish ie; liver heart, kidney, kippers which are about the same cost as a tin of dog food and much more nutritional and tasty.
James Wellbeloved is a good quality COMPLETE food so therefore why waste money on putting extra stuff with it and thereby possibly causing yourself problems? COMPLETE says it all....it 's COMPLETE!
I always use a good quality dried dog food for mine, you don't need to add tin dog food to it, i think dogs get to fussy if you add anything, in my experience tin dog food always upset my dogs stomachs and gave then wind.
It's fine as long as you give the appropriate amount
