What kind of car should i buy with 3,500 dollars that atleast an '01 model?

I currently live in Houston, Texas.

Nid a car to find a better job rather than work at little ceaser's all day for 5 days straight.

Car needs to have low-mileage, good safety rating, look descent and high mpg so i don't have to go to the gas station every 15 minutes like what my mom does when she's in a hurry.What kind of car should i buy with 3,500 dollars that atleast an '01 model?

Honestly, right now that might not happen. Any car made after 01 is going to at least cost 5k+. Any car that you do find is going to have issues with it, and will cost you more in the long run to repair. You are basically asking for everything to be perfect. Your best bet at getting a "decent" car cheap is to ask around of your mom's friends and get someones car who is about to trade it and then try to buy it from then at what the trade it would offer.What kind of car should i buy with 3,500 dollars that atleast an '01 model?
That is very low price for what your looking for... but I would suggest a chevy malibu. I recently was looking for a new car and I found a lot of malibus (01,02 year) for about 4000 or a little more that has low miles on it. I would suggest you look around for one of those and see what you can find. try craigslist.com too
