Hi guys,
I'm a 13 yr. old girl soon to turn 14 in about a week or so. My family is on a tight budget right now so a huge party like a fancy place for dinner would be expensive since we'd have to pay for all of the people coming. I was originally thinking about 15 but now I'm thinking a small amount like 4-6. We were planning on getting little ceaser's pizza but adding the cake, soda, chips, and other junkies + the movie tickets would still add up quite a lot. Any ideas?! My budget is pretty cheap, almost free. I was thinking the park w./ cake and some volleyball and then Avatar the movie? Everyone would pay for their own ticket, and we could chill at the mall too. That sound fun? Please pitch in some good ideas! Remember: Think fun yet cheap.

Mix Drinks
For my 13th birthday I just had a couple girls over and we went mini golfing. Then came back and watched a move, had cake, stuff like that.
So for you I would suggest having all the girls over then drive over to a park and have fun games set up, like you said, volleyball or whatever, then go and see Avatar. Not 3-D. That costs a lot more. :) Then just go back to your house and have a room set up with games and a table with stuff like chips, dip, candy, and sodas, then play games like truth or dare and just have a girly chat time then fall asleep to a chick click. :)

Bowling alley. See if they have special packages, not necessarily party packages. Like the alleys near us have packages where you rent an alley for 2 hours, shoes for up to 6 kids, popcorn and punch. Then you can order pizza and bring your own cake. My son and his friends like it because they can talk and laugh but be busy doing something. They eat the popcorn and punch during bowling. Then after the two hours, they eat the pizza and cake at the long bar tables.
If you're going to do a party in the park, make sure you check it out beforehand to make sure it's not too crowded, or see if you can reserve tables.
Hanging out with your friends is going to be the most important thing on your birthday!
Happy Birthday!
i would cook my own dinner for my guests
a pasta dish, salad, maybe hamburgers/hotdogs,chicken,hamburbuger helper...
a few easy qucik dishes that you can set up as a buffet style on your kitchen table
get a cake or bake a cake
and have a slumber party!
you can have a theme to your slumber party like a scavenger hunt or a make over party too

its always fun to rent all the sappiest chick flicks from blockbuster and have a movie marathon :)
For food you could make something like homemade pizza, calzones or shish-kabobs. Something fun that everyone could participate in. If you live in a safe neighborhood you could do a scavenger hunt, go sledding if there is snow. make crafts, rent movies, go fishing, hiking, have everyone pay their own way and go to an indoor waterpark
