GTA San Andreas Ceasar / Cesar / Caesar Vialpando Mission Race and gilfriend of cj?

I have been playing gta san andreas for a little while and i need to win the race with cesar vailpando (spelt caesar or ceaser). It the first low rider race call high stakes, low riders, and i got fourth once. Are there any ways to win the mission/race that are easier than just driving? I already tried putting c4 on the cards, but once the race started the c4 disapeared. And getting out the car and shotting them would only maybe get one car if your are lucking, i need to take out 5. any suggestions/cheats?

Also, CJ's first girlfriend was killed when i took her on a datea nd the car blew up. And now i cant find her at the house at all, three days straight every hour not there, is she dead? Can i ever see her again?GTA San Andreas Ceasar / Cesar / Caesar Vialpando Mission Race and gilfriend of cj?
You got to man up and do the race without trying to find an easy way. Just take your time and drive carefully at first, you find that it's not really too hard. As for the gf, she died and you didn't restart right after? She gone bro, forever. It's ok, I hated that *****. You could try the slow-motion cheat code found at any cheat code web site. This will give you more time to react and therefore help your handling. If you saved your game, I think she is dead forever. You could try going really far away from the city for a while and then come back.
