Where should i work?

I am 16 and i have tried a bunch of places like kroger, hungry howies, a diner, hallmark, coldstone, bk, mickey d's, little ceasers, Bushs, Costco, and miejers, i just cant seem to find a place that will hire me.Where should i work?
Something that hasn't been addressed in the answers to your question is, how do you dress when you go looking for a job, no matter where it is or what it is? If your hair is untidy or long, get it cut a nice length and keep it combed. Wear a nice clean shirt with a collar, sport or dress shirt and clean wash or dressy pants and shoes. Clip your fingernails and have clean hands. Take a shower so you smell clean. The grocery stores in my town won't even accept your application if you are a slob. How is your English? Try to use proper English when meeting with employers and look them in the eye when meeting them. Repeat their name when introduced and greet them with a firm handshake. In other words, make a good impression. It doesn't matter if you are applying for a busboy or car wash position. It's all about how you present yourself that makes an impression with a possible employer. Good luck in your hunt.Where should i work?
Thank you to those who voted my answer as best to this question. DH was a an employment counselor for our state job service before his retirement. This is the information he gave to people looking to change their careers and had no idea how to go about it after working in menial jobs for years.

i dont know if theres one where you live but here in wisconsin Kopps is ALWAYS hiring.
I don't know anything about you. But have you try a grocery store or a fast food place. I have you try looking for a job on monster.com or looking in the your local newspaper they sometime have really good jobing opening. Well good luck with your job hunting.Where should i work?
chick fil a
Do you have a work permit cause in Va you can't work without a permit if you're 16 and under. Try Hardees, Arby's or Long john Silver. I had a friend when he was your age started working at Hardees and stayed there for three years and then went to Chick-fil-A and worked for six years and was very good at his job. You can also try the stores at the local mall. Good Luck!
omg!! u kan make a profile on monster.com becuz dats what i did and it actualyl helped..i started when i was 17 though so idk bout 16...most likely if you keep tryin some 1 will hire you ..good luck
If you like being infront of people and working with people i would suggest coldstone because they sing and dance and they just look like they have a lot of fun. plus you get an arm work out from making icecreams. the down side of all restraunte work is that you go home smelling like it. If you are friendly and think you have what it takes, go and start off cashiering or working on the floor at your local meijer's or target. Walmart and target both hire at 16 with a maximum working hours of 20 hours a week. i worked at both at 16. it was fun but back to school and christmas are crazy, but fun.
Try Subway they usually hire 16 yr olds.
I don't know anything about where you live or what you've done in the past, but if you want to find a great job for a 16, where the harder you work the more money you make, try bussing tables. Go to a casual dining restaurant in your area like a Chili's or Applebee's, servers make a lot of cash and if you help them out my cleaning their tables and working hard for them, they will tip you out extra cash on top of what you already make for an hourly wage. Plus you get a discount on the food at most places. So you get a paycheck, you get cash in your pocket, and you get a good meal cheap.
based on my experiance when i was ur age man u dont want fast food that **** sucks i put in a year a bk and mcdees they both were the werst jobs ive ever had but if u can get on as a stockman or some **** like that at a grocery store that **** is a cake walk i remember i used to do it to.
