Is this too much or too little to lose weight?

I had a meal replacement bar for breakfast, bowl of chicken and noodles for lunch, microwavable cup of Velveeta shells and cheese like at 3, and a ceaser salad for dinner. I want to lose 10 lbs. I work out every other day. This is my first time trying to lose weight so I don't know what to do. Input please ?Is this too much or too little to lose weight?
The best way to lose weight is to eat more frequent but smaller meals. This will keep your metabolism at its highest. I myself eat every 3-4 hours and it is much smaller than a normal meal size. The main thing that you should focus on consuming is lean protein (chicken, fish, etc) Avoid fried foods and things with high sugar content. You can still have carbs but you should make them slow digesting carbs such as sweet potatoes, whole wheat bread and pasta, etc. The shells and cheese is pretty bad because it is made with white pasta and im sure that the cheese contains a decent amount of fat. Drink plenty of water (not soda or juice) Make sure you are getting adequate protein!!! Also do not skip meals because then your metabolism slows down which slows down the burning of calories and fat. Breakfast is your most important meal and you need to be sure to consumer high protein this meal. Egg whites are great to eat for breakfast, a piece of fruit and wheat toast would be fine also.Is this too much or too little to lose weight?
Well you're going to have to put in a lot more work than just how much you eat, it's far more a matter of what you eat.

Look at traditional Okinawans, they leave each meal feeling quite full and satisfied. Now look at the average American on another stupid diet binge, never satisfied and still fat (not making that remark insulting you by the way, just despise those useless diets).

I suggest you look up the calories on everything you eat each day and make sure that you have at least 1500-2000 calories in your system per day depending on your age, gender, and health status. If you find yourself eating that much and more without feeling full, replace some of your foods with things like fresh peppers, celery, apples, turnips, spinach, or other similar vegetables which are filling but have low calorie values. These will allow you to eat more, fill up your stomach, and still remain within the healthy calorie per day content.

Other then that I recommend highly that you look at "how" you're working out, not how often you're working out. I suggest you perform at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per day, running walking jogging jumping jacks jumping around bunny hopping...whatever fits your schedule and space. I also recommend you use push ups and sit ups to tone your other muscles so that they consume more of the fat off your reserves which will reduce your body fat. Start out with about 5 push ups and 20 sit ups if you haven't done this a lot and add 5 push ups and 10 sit ups to the regimen every week to keep your muscles properly exhausted.

Other then that just keep a good mindset. If you lose your will to exercise I'm not going to chain you to a treadmill. Though if you're really crazy I'm sure you could find someone to do that.Is this too much or too little to lose weight?
If you are trying to lose weight, then you must stop working out. Most work outs are mass builders. And you will find that even though you are eating the right foods, more and more muscle are forming. You need to make the decision whether you wish to lose weight or body build. Ten pounds is so mundane of an amount to lose, this could happen just by releasing water in your system with the help of a diuretic. And, make sure that you take your vitamins so that you will remain awake during normal hours to burn off excess calories. Good Luck.Is this too much or too little to lose weight?
