Can I feed my dog cat food?

I ran out of dog food, and the store is closed.

I usually give her the little Ceasers containers.

I have a packet of wet cat food that looks like basically the same kind of food.

Is it ok to feed this to my dog, just for tonight?Can I feed my dog cat food?
It would probably make it a little sick. (because of the change in food) also because cat and dog food are very different despite their appearances. It wouldnt do her any good at all.



If you have some frozen or fresh chicken or turkey or beef etc cook a little of it up and cut it up with some rice or some vegetables for now. or just some meat and kibbles.

Stores are closed??? Where do you live? Newfoundland? Stores are open all day. Even Walgreens sells that grocery store food like Purina. Anyway, they like cat food but it's high in fat and not recommended for nutritional reasons on a regular basis.



BTW, Cesar's is not a very good quality food. And they sell it at Walgreens too.

I wouldn't, cat food and dog food are very different. It wouldn't kill her to give her a little cooked white rice and sandwich meat (like turkey, chicken, tuna in a can).
NO NO NO!. Cat food has tons more protein in it than dog food. It will upset there stomachs. Cats digestive track is different then dogs and require a different food.
